The summer of 2020 marked fifteen years of working in public libraries for me. I have experienced many different departments and styles of libraries, and I have enjoyed all of them. From selecting and ordering materials to planning engaging events, interacting with library customers at the service desk, developing effective publicity, supervising staff, interns and volunteers and managing multiple collection budgets, I have a great variety of experience to show for the last decade and a half spent serving some wonderful communities. My directorship at Gibsonville Public Library has been an incredible opportunity to create positive change, and I look forward to what we will accomplish next!
